1.這種情況多數(shù)可以改為介詞+名詞的形式：
his life story---the story of his life
this grammar book---this book on grammar
a corner table---a table (designed for) a corner
有些會動的東西，臨時呆在角落，不能如此用：
"a corner cat" is wrong.
有些詞不可替換：consumer goods, a welfare state.
有時候意義不一樣：
a glass of wine, a wine glass/ a box of matches, a match box
這些詞聽力時多把重音放在兩個詞上：
'gold 'coin, 'back 'garden
有時可用and, or
與形容詞并用：
the postal and telephone services, daily or evening pAPers.
有時與代詞one一起用：
I wanted a wool tie but my wife prefered a silk one.
